Joyce, CPA MPA, brings over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and executive leadership across the corporate, education, not-for-profit, and advisory sectors. Her career reflects a blend of director-level leadership and hands-on financial management, making her uniquely positioned to guide businesses through both strategic growth and day-to-day financial operations.

Joyce began her career with the Australian Medical Association (AMA), progressing from financial accountant to finance manager, where she oversaw statutory reporting, payroll, and consolidated group financials. She later held senior finance leadership roles at the Australian National University, Lifeline Australia, and the Catholic Education Office, where she specialised in financial governance, capital project accounting, and managing multi-entity reporting structures.

She further expanded her expertise as Finance Manager at Ravenswood School for Girls and Finance & Operations Manager at the Little Company of Mary, taking on responsibilities ranging from board reporting and property portfolio management to payroll, compliance, and budgeting.

From 2020 onwards, Joyce transitioned into high-level CFO advisory and consultancy. As Director and CFO Advisory Consultant at Elroi Group, she has delivered services including financial strategy, FP&A, risk management, system implementation, and cash flow optimisation for a wide range of businesses. Joyce also worked as General Manager of Finance at MSM Milling in 2022 and also as Director of Finance, Risk and Compliance at Ngamuru Advisory, where she strengthened governance, compliance, and risk frameworks while mentoring finance teams and providing strategic advice to boards and leadership teams.

Joyce’s portfolio highlights her ability to:

    • Deliver accurate reporting and compliance across ASIC, ATO, ACNC, and industry regulations.
    • Lead large and diverse finance teams, driving performance and accountability.
    • Implement financial systems and digital reporting tools to improve efficiency.
    • Provide boards with clear insights for commercial, investment, and strategic decision-making.
    • Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial sustainability.

Her depth of experience is complemented by her time as an accounting academic tutor at the University of Western Sydney, where she taught and mentored students in key accounting disciplines.

This combination of technical expertise, leadership, and advisory capability positions Joyce as a trusted financial partner to organisations of all sizes. Today, through WJW CFO Advisory & Accounting, she supports businesses in navigating complex financial landscapes, from compliance and reporting to strategy, governance, and sustainable growth.
